V Magazine named her as one of the new "it girls". She has recently done shows such as Blugirl, Just Cavalli, Diane Von Furstenberg, Marc by Marc Jacobs, and Narcisco Rodriguez. Giedre is with New York Models, IMG, P Model Scout Team (Prague), View Management (Spain), and Women Management (Italy).

In the past few fashion seasons Svieta has been one of the more active models on the runways of the major fashion capitals. Chloe (Spring 2007), Kenzo (Spring 2007) Louis Vuitton (Spring 2007), Miu Miu (Spring 2007), Blugirl (Spring 2007), and Ralph Lauren (Spring 2007) were just some of the shows she did for the Spring 2007 season.
